In December of 2022, the Chicago White Sox inked a 5-year/$75m contract with free agent outfielder, Andrew Benintendi. The deal made Benintendi the largest free agent in the organization’s history. After a tough 2023, White Sox manager Pedro Grifol recently illuminated why Benintendi struggled so much in 2023 to CHGO’s Vinnie Duber.
