What’s up, White Sox fans?

Things are ... not great on the South Side right now.

The Sox are 1-8 in their first nine games, fresh off a four-game sweep at the hands of the division-rival Royals this weekend, one of the only teams in baseball that finished with a worse record in 2023. The offense has been abysmal, with just 16 runs scored on the season. And on top of it all, the Sox will be without team MVP Luis Robert Jr. for some time after he strained his hip flexor Friday night.

Like I said, not great.
