The Rockford IceHogs had another three-game week and took three out of six possible points. The busy week started with the only home game on Friday night. They gave up four third-period goals, including three in the final 10 minutes, in a 6-3 loss to the Chicago Wolves. Frank Nazar, Colton Dach, and Landon Slaggert found the back of the net for Rockford.

On Saturday, Dach and Nazar scored again, taking the second-place Milwaukee Admirals to overtime. Former Blackhawk and AHL leading scorer Vinnie Hinostroza got the extra point for the home team in overtime.
