The Rockford IceHogs had their best week of the season, taking five out of six possible points from the Texas Stars. They won their lone home game on Tuesday, getting two goals from Frank Nazar and Colton Dach in a 5-2 win.

The series moved to Texas for the weekend, and on Friday, second-period goals from Nazar and veteran Gerry Mayhew were enough to secure a 2-1 victory.
