Draft week is finally here. The Bears have set themselves up beautifully to have an offseason to remember. The offensive line finally has a structure with C Drew Dalman, LG Joe Thuney, and RG Jonah Jackson all signed or acquired via trade.
Ryan Poles interviewed every coach under the sun before nabbing Ben Johnson, who "wanted to be here" the second he became available after Detroit's early playoff exit.
Johnson's impact, bolstered by veteran defensive coordinator Dennis Allen, running backs coach Eric Bieniemy, and assistant head coach/wide receivers coach Antwaan Randle El, will hopefully be Ditka-esque. Trust in Ben is real and hopefully long-lasting.
