Major League Baseball's Winter Meetings in Dallas have come and gone, and compared to the 2023 event, we saw a ton of movement happen on both the free-agent and trade markets.
The Chicago Cubs didn't make any official moves before they left the Hilton Anatole, but that didn't mean they weren't actively working on things. The goal coming out of the Winter Meetings, even if they didn't quite get a deal across the finish line, was to at the very least keep moving things in the right direction.
