The Chicago White Sox were unable to take advantage of a rookie pitcher making his first career start. Sawyer Gipson-Long was spotted 3 early runs and was able to hold the lead. Eloy Jimenez batted in a run with an RBI Double and Luis Robert Jr. drove one in with an RBI Single. With the loss, the Sox lose the series to Detroit, their 4th-straight series loss.
