The Chicago White Sox quickly led 3-0 versus the Arizona Diamondback Tuesday night, but gave the lead away with bad pitching. Eloy Jimenez homered for the 18th time this season, but Jose Urena and Yohan Ramirez had no answer for a stout D-Backs offense. The White Sox unquestioned MVP of 2023, Luis Robert Jr., won’t be finishing the season as he had hoped. On Sunday, Robert Jr. slid into 2nd base awkwardly. The team announced today that he will be placed on the 10-day IL with a mild MCL sprain, ending his season. He is expected to be fully healthy in 2-4 weeks, and it won’t affect his availability for Spring Training or offseason conditioning. Join Herb Lawrence, Vinnie Duber and Sean Anderson as they discuss Robert Jr.’s injury and recap the tough loss to a playoff contender on the CHGO White Sox Live Postgame Podcast.
