Happy Friday, Bears fans. This isn’t exactly the kind of meaningful December football the Bears were hoping to have this year, but it’s still pretty damn meaningful. 
Technically, the Bears aren’t eliminated from the playoffs. They also can lock up the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft with a loss by the Carolina Panthers. And in the meantime, they have tough evaluations to finish on both their quarterback and coaching staff. 
With that in mind, there’s a chance Sunday’s game against the Falcons is Justin Fields’ final game at Soldier Field in a Bears uniform.
