The Chicago Bulls finally win their first NBA Cup game, beating the Atlanta Hawks 136-122 on Friday night.
Everything was working for the Bulls, who shot 57 percent from the field (season-high), 44.2 percent from three (19-of-42) and 90.5 percent from the line. They put up a 125.9 offensive rating , 14.7 points per 100 possessions above their 19th ranked season average.
Despite leading late, they even got to run up the score a bit for the first time during NBA Cup play, which must have felt good after the Cleveland Cavaliers did the same to them last week.
