After three years, Lonzo Ball is on his way to a comeback for the Chicago Bulls.
Ball, who has been out since January 14, 2022, began full-court 5-on-5 scrimmaging this August, which he has done without setbacks, according to Chicago Sun Times' Joe Cowley.
This is a huge milestone for Ball, who is recovering from three separate knee surgeries, the latest being a cartilage transplant. If he can return in October for the 2024-25 season, he would become the first major NBA player to make a comeback from such a procedure.
