Hoge’s Bears Mock Draft 1.0: Big time investment in line of scrimmage

It’s NFL Combine Week in Indianapolis, which means it’s a great time to release my first Bears mock draft of 2025.
Believe it or not, this is Year 15 of these mock drafts for me, and they’re always a fun exercise. A necessary reminder: The point of these mock drafts is not to predict what the Bears will do but rather to paint the picture of a possible scenario and hopefully enlighten you on some of the prospects I believe will be a great fit for the team.
Thankfully, there isn’t a big quarterback decision looming this year that could alter everything. There’s no need to do any fancy trades. We know what the Bears need: help on the line of scrimmage.
