In hiring Ben Johnson, Bears did the obvious thing — for once

I’m still not sure what is more shocking — that the Detroit Lions lost Saturday night or that the Bears turned around and hired Ben Johnson less than 48 hours later.
It was an incredible turn of events that may end up flipping the power in the NFC North. At least that’s how the Bears hope it turns out.
Regardless of the result of this seismic hire, it’s hard to find fault in the Bears’ process. With that in mind, let’s take a look at how we got here, what it means, and what questions remain.
