Greetings from Dallas, where the Chicago White Sox have arrived for the start of baseball’s Winter Meetings.
With big contracts going out to free agents all over the place, it’s supposed to be a far busier event than last year, when no one did much of anything in three days in Nashville. But the Texas edition should be different.
The White Sox were actually the exception to the rule last year, inking Erick Fedde to a free-agent deal in one of those Meetings’ biggest splashes. (Remember, everything’s relative.)
