Chris Getz said before the end of the season – during which the White Sox lost a record-setting 121 games – that he was looking for a partner in his long-term turnaround effort, and he talked Thursday of how he’s found one in Will Venable, who met the media hours after his hiring, which was first reported Tuesday night, became official.
