What’s up, Sox fans?
Twenty straight losses is unthinkably bad.
The Chicago White Sox have done what only six other teams since 1901 have done, losing 20 games in a row. They’re three off from matching the modern record, a 23-game skid by the Phillies in 1961. It’s the first losing streak of 20 or more games in the majors in my lifetime.
They’ve been swept in six straight series, are 0-16 since the All-Star break and have been outscored 131-41 in their last 20 games.
All of that, to be clear, is hideous.
