DALLAS – We all came to Texas thinking we’d be talking about the Chicago White Sox and their big-name trade candidates.
But while there’s been plenty of buzz surrounding what might happen with Garrett Crochet and Luis Robert Jr., the actual action is taking place elsewhere. Specifically, in right field.
The White Sox’ lone move during the first two days of the Winter Meetings was to sign up free-agent outfielder Mike Tauchman, the former Cub and Palatine native who figures to play a prominent role in right field.
