What’s the latest in the Chicago White Sox manager search?
Well, we’ve got a longer list of reported candidates than ever before, with the New York Post’s Jon Heyman doubling the amount of publicly known names in a Thursday report, throwing Rangers bench coach Will Venable, former Angels manager Phil Nevin and Cardinals bench coach Daniel Descalso into the mix.
We already know White Sox interim manager Grady Sizemore is being considered, former Marlins manager Skip Schumaker has been long discussed as a target, and there’s reporting tying Dodgers first-base coach Clayton McCullough to the opening, as well.
