Luis Robert Jr. has ‘gotten a lot of attention,’ White Sox say, but finding trade match seems unlikely

DALLAS – The Chicago White Sox are expected to trade their top pitcher, Garrett Crochet, before the winter is through.
But what about their top hitter? Will Luis Robert Jr. be changing his uniform or showing up to Camelback Ranch for spring training as usual?
Chris Getz said there’s been plenty of interest in Robert, practically all that remains of the core of the last rebuilding attempt on the South Side. With Getz spearheading a new rebuild at 35th and Shields, Robert would seem to represent, as Crochet does, an opportunity to infuse some top-of-the-line minor league talent into the organization in an attempt to construct the next contending White Sox team years down the road.
