DALLAS — With the way the free-agent market has moved and with the ripple effects that can have on the trade market, it's become pretty clear that, if they want to give the position-player group a different look, the Chicago Cubs will have to explore trade options.
There are just too many positions locked in with returning players that trading seems to be the way to open up space. Most of the rumors have included Cody Bellinger and Nico Hoerner, because neither holds a no-trade clause and both offer something other teams would surely be interested in.
But a new name has emerged in recent trade rumors: Seiya Suzuki.
