Bulls season ends against Heat in Play-In for third straight season

The Chicago Bulls fall to the Miami Heat in the Play-In again. Who could have seen that coming?

Down the stretch of the season, the Chicago Bulls had been playing their best basketball. 15-5 in their last 20 games, they were running teams out of the gym while Coby White and Josh Giddey piled up counting stats.
The way they had been playing, the season didn't feel like it would end at the hands of the Miami Heat in the NBA Play-In Tournament. Not again. Not for the third straight season in the NBA Play-In Tournament.
Except it did. And not only did they lose, 109-90, the Bulls team that took their home floor did not at all resemble the group that finished the season so strongly.
