The NBA is the soap opera that never stops.
A mid-day Shams Charania notification set the NBA world ablaze as the Denver Nuggets, just 666 days since the organization's only championship in team history, fired head coach Mike Malone and GM Calvin Booth.
At 47-32, the Nuggets are hanging onto home-court advantage in the first round of the Playoffs by a hair. The Nuggets are a very good team that has battled through extended injury absences and the loss of a key starter, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, to Free Agency.
