Over the last few weeks, there's been rampant discussion about lower NBA ratings on TV and the volume of three-point shots bastardizing the game.
Viewers can come to their own conclusion on this topic from an aesthetic standpoint, but it is reductive to say that whoever makes more threes wins. Take the Chicago Bulls 117-92 loss to the Boston Celtics on Saturday night, for example. The Celtics made only one more three on only one more three-point attempt than the Bulls, but managed to win the game by 25.
