Beating the Toronto Raptors 137-118, the Chicago Bulls clinched a berth into the NBA Play-In Tournament for the third. Consecutive. Season.
It's not the three-peat the Bulls should strive toward, but here we are.
If a 9-6 month of March and a Play-In berth is considered a success, the bar has gotten way too low. That's what happens when it's been 10 years since the Bulls made it out of the first round of the playoffs and 13 since they were last a legitimate threat. But as long as they 'remain competitive' for 'the next 30 games', they'll have enough 'integrity' to maybe go '14-9 after All-Star Break'.
At least coach Billy Donovan has been a voice of reason.
