The Chicago Bulls are on a five-game losing streak since trading Zach LaVine, following their 113-111 overtime loss to the New York Knicks on Thursday.
Sitting 22-34 on the season, losses are good for this team big picture. While they didn't make up any ground in the tankathon order, Philadelphia, Brooklyn and Portland all lost too, draft position remains critical for the team's future outlook.

But it's hard to put this loss in the tanking category. Tanking teams trade their veteran players. They don't prioritize winning by playing through vets.
Words and actions haven't synchronized for a team that unloaded its three best players ...
