In a 119-89 win over the Washington Wizards, the Chicago Bulls have officially clinched the 9th seed.
Ahead of the game, there was still a small chance that the Bulls could have jumped up to the 8th seed, where they would have guaranteed themselves two shots in the NBA Play-In Tournament. To make that possible, they would have needed to win both their remaining games — this one against the Wizards and their season finale on Sunday against the Philadelphia 76ers — and get some good fortune from the Atlanta Hawks, requiring them to lose both their games. The Hawks didn't do the Bulls any favors, beating the Sixers 124-110 on Friday night, blocking the Bulls from a last second jump up...
