LAKE FOREST, Ill. — Matt Eberflus and company are dialing up the creativity. Velus Jones Jr. is dangerous when he has the ball in his hands. But Jones is not a great route runner, his pass-catching ability is still a work in progress, and the Bears wide receiver room has gotten more crowded. Jones will now work on becoming a better running back this week as well as in the preseason game Saturday against Buffalo. Feels very last minute. Let's get into today's 3 observations:
