LAKE FOREST — Let there be no doubt. The Chicago Bears rookie quarterback, franchise-player-to-hopefully-be wants as many reps as possible to get ready for the regular season.
Caleb Williams did not mince words on Monday about his desire to play in Thursday's preseason against the Houston Texans. Williams wants to learn, grow and get better as fast as possible with the games that really matter inching closer.
Elsewhere, the offensive line remained in limbo while the defense looked formidable. The first indoor practice is in the books on a rainy Monday.
