Chicago Bears Training Camp Observations: Caleb Williams to play against Buffalo Bills

LAKE FOREST, Ill. — Caleb Williams will play! Williams has expressed he wants to play in the preseason, and now he'll get his chance.
Williams needs the reps as does the offense underlined by another up and down practice where the defense won the day.
Nate Davis is now week-to-week as is long snapper Patrick Scales, both with soft tissue ailments. Montez Sweat remains out along with Kyler Gordon, Tyrique Stevenson and Jaquan Brisker.
But, Caleb will play. Here are today's three observations:
1. Caleb Williams will be on the field for a range of plays.
Matt Eberflus would not tell us exactly how long Williams will play. The expectation is one quarter which is what Tyson Bagent got in the Hall...
