What a weekend for the South Siders.
The Sox snapped out of the doldrums of a 3-22 start to sweep the Rays, getting breakout performances from Martín Maldonado, Andrew Benintendi and Erick Fedde to fuel the team's first winning streak of 2024.
Now, it's going to take a lot more than a rousing three-game stretch for the Sox to be anything but the owners of one of baseball's worst records. Even this three-game winning streak only brings them to 16 games below .500.
