The Chicago White Sox had a hot start in Cleveland, scoring five first-inning runs! However, Yoan Moncada, while trying to beat out an infield groundout, could not complete the 90-foot sprint and hit the ground right before the bag. Moncada was immediately lifted from the game with what the White Sox described as a left adductor strain. By the fifth inning, the Sox’s five-run lead had evaporated, but the offense came through late for a 7-5 win. Join Herb Lawrence, Vinnie Duber, and Sean Anderson as they discuss Moncada’s injury, an interesting report from the Chicago Sun-Times’ Joe Cowley, and the Sox win on the postgame edition of the CHGO White Sox Podcast.
