Garrett Crochet had a phenomenal second start with the Chicago White Sox! Crochet went seven strong innings, walking one, striking out eight Braves, and only allowing one run. The White Sox used small ball to score in the 6th as Andrew Benintendi bunted for a single and was driven in by a bloop RBI single from Gavin Sheets. In the 7th inning, Paul DeJong pinch hit for Braden Shewmake and hit a go-ahead home run to give the Sox a 2-1 lead. On a cold, windy night the White Sox won their first game of the year! Join the CHGO White Sox crew, Herb Lawrence and Sean Anderson as they recap the game and chat with CHGO White Sox Beat Writer, Vinnie Duber who will join LIVE from Guaranteed Rate Field.
