The Chicago White Sox defeated the Colorado Rockies in the opener of their series Tuesday night. Eloy Jimenez supplied all of the runs the sox would need with one swing of the bat, a 3-run homer in the first inning. Jose Abreu added an insurance run with a long ball of his own in the 8th.
