‘Twas the night before game day,
And all through the town
Every Bears fan was dreading
The next long third down.
Caleb’s potential,
Despite all the noise
Kept Bears fans dreaming
Of a future of joys.
Odunze and DJ,
With skill and with speed,
Winning their 1-on-1s
From Caleb’s great feed.
The season was tough
But hope still remains,
The future looks brighter
Despite all the pains.
Flus is now gone
But mistakes pile higher,
Just improve the O-Line
And then make the right hire.
A ‘Leader of Men’
They say they need next,
Could Ben Johnson fix
What’s become of this mess?
His ‘Stumble Bum’ play
Showed a mind that’s so sharp,
Or is Vrabel the one
To ignite a spark?
As Christmas draws near
And fans, they still cheer
The journey’s not over,
The next step is near.
So here’s to the Bears
With just two games to go,
Merry Christmas from all of us
At CHGO!
— Patrick Norton
Bears vs. Seahawks Predictions
So, Ben Johnson is “intrigued” by the Bears’ upcoming head coach opening and is expected to take an interview? Let’s hope Detroit gets the No. 1 seed in the NFC and a bye.
Merry Christmas, Bears fans.
Adam Hoge (8-7)
The Seahawks really need this game and weather shouldn’t be a factor because they’ll basically be playing in Seattle conditions. There’s no indication to think the Bears defense will stop anyone anytime soon and the offense almost always tops out somewhere around 20 points.

Did Caleb Williams’ accuracy improve in Week 16 against the Lions last Sunday? Sure! But I was really disappointed with Thomas Brown’s decision-making in the 34-17 loss. Maybe I’m being a little too harsh, but Brown, already 60% of the way through his five-game stint as interim head coach, hasn’t practiced what he preached when he took over for Matt Eberflus after Week 13.
Seahawks 27, Bears 13
Mark Carman (12-3)
Do you remember when the CHGO Bears Podcast interviewed Jaxon Smith-Njigba at the Super Bowl last year? Smith-Njigba didn’t love his experience with the OC the Bears hired, Shane Waldron. He has already surpassed 1,000 yards this year (1,089) with two games to play, dwarfling last year’s 628.
Meanwhile, the Seahawks still have an outside shot at making the playoffs. They have to win this week and then beat the Rams next week to take the NFC West. They also need the Rams to lose at home to Arizona this week. Feels like a small chance, but the Seahawks are still the better team with more to play for.
Seahawks 25, Bears 22
Greg Braggs Jr. (9-6)
Imagine a Bears fan in the elevator at Nakatomi Tower, completely bludgeoned from this beating of a season.
The door opens, and on the shirt, it reads…
“Now we have a Quarterback.
HO – HO – HO.”
Bears 31, Seahawks 24
Corey Wootton (10-5)
Bears are looking to see what vacation they are going on. Seattle is still in the hunt. They have a talented WR core, and the Bears will not deliver enough pressure to affect Geno Smith. Happy holidays and wishing for some OL/DL next year!
Seahawks 28, Bears 17
Kevin Kaduk (9-6)
‘Tis the season to believe. But not in this team that’s been packing it in for weeks.
Seahawks 25, Bears 20
Stephen Nicholas (10-5)
‘Twas the night after Christmas
At a cold Soldier Field
We pray for Ben Johnson
To enter the fold
Meanwhile, both offenses struggle
Finding the end zone
As I search for some reason to cheer
I predict just a Swift TD
And that I’ll need several beers…
Just one more week, Bears fans
The end of the season is near
Seahawks 17, Bears 16
