The Chicago Cubs kicked off the 2024 MLB Season against the reigning World Series Champions, the Texas Rangers. The Cubbies got on the board first with a Dansby Swanson sacrifice fly in the second before the Rangers evened it up. Justin Steele allowed a run in 4.2 innings before being removed due to a hamstring injury. The Cubbies took a late lead in the 9th when Michael Busch scored on a wild pitch, but the Rangers rallied in the 9th to send the game to extras where they eventually came away with a win. Join Luke, Cody, Ryan, and Corey on the CHGO Cubs Postgame Show live from The Country Club in Wrigleyville for a recap of tonight’s game and a look ahead to the rest of the series.
