After scoring 20 runs the night prior, the Chicago Cubs weren’t tired of scoring more Wednesday night at beautiful, historic Wrigley Field. The Cubs once trailing 3-0 at one point began the comeback behind a Christopher Morel two-run homer. The Reds’ Joey Votto later made it 5-2 behind one of his two home runs on the night. After that, the Cubs offense came alive scoring eight consecutive runs to take a 10-5 lead and never looking back, winning 16-6. Dansby Swanson and Ian Happ both hit homers. Jeimer Candelario continued his hot start back with the Cubs and the vibes were once again very good on a beautiful night at Wrigley Field. Tune in for tonight’s postgame with Cody Delmendo, Corey Freedman and Ryan Herrera.
