The Chicago Cubs faced off against the Los Angeles Dodgers at home on Thursday night. Despite having won 5 of their last 6 games, including 2 of 3 against the Dodgers, the Cubs were unable to secure a victory. Starting pitcher Jameson Taillon was unexpectedly sidelined with a groin injury before the game, forcing Javier Assad to take his place on short notice. The Cubs battled hard but fell to the Dodgers, after Michael Fulmer allowed a grand slam in the top of the 9th. Join Luke, Cody, and Ryan on the CHGO Cubs Podcast as they recap tonight’s game.
