The Chicago Cubs got back in the win column on Tuesday night with a big win over the San Diego Padres. The Cubs badly needed a win after blowing an 8-0 loss to the Padres last night. Ben Brown was rock solid in his first ever MLB start, going 4.2 innings and allowing 0 earned runs. Yan Gomes hit a solo shot for the Cubbies before Christopher Morel blew the game wide open with a grand slam to left field.
