The Chicago Cubs lost a hard-fought game to the division-leading Cincinnati Reds Monday night. Marcus Stroman once again struggled. His ERA in the month of July ballooned to 7.99 after the rough outing. In BIGGER NEWS, the Cubs cemented their place as buyers by making a pair of trades, most notably acquiring former Cub Jeimer Candelario from the Washington Nationals.
