In what’s becoming a familiar theme, the Chicago Blackhawks continue to play up and down to the competition this season. In the case of Saturday’s game versus the Nashville Predators, the Hawks played down to the competition. It was quickly 2-0 Predators in the 1st period. The Hawks found the net in the second period to cut it to a one-goal deficit, courtesy of Phillip Kurashev. After a Predators goal made it 3-1, Tyler Johnson got Chicago back in it with a third-period goal, his fifth of the season. But that’s as close as they would get, falling 4-2.
