The Chicago Blackhawks fell behind 2-0 in the 1st period but clawed back versus the San Jose Sharks Sunday night. Philipp Kurashev cut the deficit in half in the 2nd period with his 14th goal, assisted by Connor Bedard. The floodgates broke loose in the third period in favor the of the Hawks. Ryan Donato netted the game-tying goal on a broken play to tie the game. Less than two minutes later, Kevin Korchinski fired a one-timer past Devin Cooley, who was making his first career start, for the go-ahead goal. Seconds later, Joey Anderson scored on a backwards, between-the-legs shot that deflected off of a Sharks player’s skate for the 4th goal. In the final seconds, Connor Bedard scored an empty-netter for his second point of the night.
