The Chicago Blackhawks closed out 2022 in a familiar fashion, losing to the Columbus Blue Jackets Saturday afternoon. The Hawks have now lost 19 of their last 21 games. Andreas Athanasiou was the lone goal scorer for the Blackhawks, who, despite the loss, pulled further away from Columbus in the tank standings. The Hawks now sit 4 points “ahead” of Columbus and Anaheim for first place in the tank standings.
