The Chicago Blackhawks suffered a monumental collapse to the Dallas Stars Wednesday night. Leading 4-1 in the 3rd period, the wheels came off the Hawks’ defense, surrendering 5 goals in the period to suffer defeat. Jonathan Toews reached a milestone in the win, recording his 500th career assist. Seth Jones announced his return in a big way, scoring a game-tying goal in the 2nd period to spark a Blackhawks’ run that saw them score 4 straight goals. Andreas Athanasiou, Connor Murphy and Max Domi also contributed goals in support of Petr Mrazek, but the 3rd period proved too much to overcome.
