The bye week for the 2024 Chicago Bears feels much different than the previous two years.
By the time the Bears hit the much-needed week off in the 2022 and 2023 seasons, the team was essentially eliminated or on the verge of being eliminated from playoff contention. That was especially true during the 2022 season. The Bears had a 3-10 record going into their Week 14 bye. Last season, the Bears were 4-8 before the Week 13 Bye.
This latest version of the Bears not only has as many wins as last year's team but went into their Week 7 bye on a three-game win streak -- the first of the Matt Eberflus era.
