CHICAGO -- On second-and-6 from the Panthers' 34-yard line, Caleb Williams connected with DJ Moore for a 34-yard touchdown to finish a 7-play, 70-yard drive in the first quarter.
It was the first time the Chicago Bears scored a touchdown in the first quarter all season.
The downfield throw through the air was also the first of many big plays the Bears created in the dominant 36-10 victory over the Panthers. Chicago came into the game ranked dead last in explosive plays with just 12 in four weeks. The Bears finished the Week 5 win with nine explosive plays (7 passing and 2 rushing).
