4-2 is the Bears' best start since beginning the 2020 fans-less experience 5-1. Back then, Nick Foles was leading comebacks and Tom Brady was learning how to count using his fingers. Brady wasn't very good at it, but he was good enough to win a Super Bowl at the end of the season.
Cole Kmet caught his first touchdown against the Carolina Panthers, but things took a nasty turn for the Bears after Week 6. Chicago lost the next six games and squeaked into the playoffs with a losing record, losing to the Saints in the newly expanded Wild Card Round.
