The Chicago Blackhawks played an EXCELLENT second period against the New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden Monday night and held on in the third period for a solid 2-1 win. It is just the second win for Arvid Söderblom this season. The Hawks got a first-period goal from Tyler Bertuzzi (6) and a second-period goal from Taylor Hall (6). Connor Bedard picked up his team-leading 16th assist of the season on Hall’s goal at 6:16 in the second. It’s also the first win for a Swedish-born NHL head coach (Anders Sörensen) in NHL history.
