The third time was indeed the charm for the Chicago Blackhawks. After losing the first two games of the season series in Texas, they beat the Dallas Stars 6-2 Wednesday night. The win was just their third over the Stars since the start of the 2021-22 season.
The new top line needed very little time to get going. Taylor Hall scored his third goal of the season just 17 seconds after the opening faceoff. He doubled his goal output about five minutes later when Ryan Donato found him all alone at the front of the net.
