After playing their first four games on the road, the Chicago Blackhawks were back on United Center ice Thursday night hosting the San Jose Sharks. When the schedule was released, there was excitement about the last two number-one overall picks, Connor Bedard and Macklin Celebrini, facing off against each other. That matchup will have to wait until later in the season, with Celebrini out due to a lower-body injury. The Blackhawks took advantage of the energy in the building and rode to a 4-2 win, improving to 2-1-1 on the early season.
