It finally happened. For the first time since February of 2023, the Chicago Blackhawks have won three games in a row, beating the Seattle Kraken 3-1 at the United Center.
It was a satisfying victory for Chicago, but after a first period filled with missed opportunities, doubts must have crept in. In just over two minutes of play, Ilya Mikheyev missed on a wide-open net, Connor Bedard set up Ryan Donato, who was denied by Seattle goaltender Joey Daccord, and Tyler Bertuzzi hit the post.
